Then we have an opportunity for you! We cuJTently haYe an opening for an Automation Technical Supervisor located at our manufacturing facility in Shelbyville, KY. The Automation Technical Supervisor manages the electrical/mechanical automation maintenance, upgrading and projects throughout the plant across all shifts. As an Automation Teclmical Supervisor. you will be responsible for coordinating maintenance acti\·ities. promoting safety. resolving production issues. and overseeing and training employees. This individual will maintain systems and equipment by completing preventative maintenance schedules. restoring. repairing. rebuilding. or replacing defective or inoperative parts You will have the opportunity to: • Monitor the quality of the work provided in the plant • Jdenti fy machine and/or facility issues and fix them • Ensure that safety protocols are followed • Collaborate with other Maintenance and Production Supervisors to ensure plant needs are addressed Ultimately. you will be using your expertise to develop employees. make recommendations for materials and services. and provide direction. Responsibilities The Automation Technical Supervisor responsibilities include: • Daily management of man-power hours used and budgeting of resources • Generate, manage and schedule work procedures for planned and emergent work using CMMS program. • Conduct or schedule training in safety, repair, and maintenance techniques • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, NFPA 7.0, NEC 202 electrical code or other rules and regulations • Ability to coordinate vendors, order required repair materials, and provide technical guidance to both plant personnel and contractors • Use of CMMS to document equipment history, charge man hours, order repair parts and schedule maintenance evolutions Qualifications: • BS or Technical degree in Engineering or related field. • 2+ years of related professional manufacturing maintenance and/or technical team management experience. • OSHA 10 hour and 40 hour training certification • PLC and HMI programming using Allen Bradley RSLogix, Studio 5000 or equivalent proficiency is required. • Knowledge of IT networking principles.
