We are seeking a dynamic IT systems professional to implement, maintain and support our information technology systems and applications. Summary: Administers and supports the IT systems environment with the critical responsibility to keep the systems running at all times. Ensures the highest level of system and infrastructure available to meet the organization’s needs. Manages, installs, maintains and operates all installed computer systems or networks. Configures and installs complex information systems (including hardware and software). Works independently with minimal supervision. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. • Installs, configures, tests, maintains operating systems, application software and system management tools. Supports and manages servers and resolves issues as needed. This includes LAN/WAN, Exchange server, Internet connectivity, active directory and group policy management and support. • Uses knowledge of LAN/WAN systems to help design and install internal and external networks. Manages and monitors all installed systems and infrastructure. Monitors configuration and maintains data files. This includes LAN/WAN, Exchange server, Internet connectivity, active director and group policy management and support. • Proactively ensures the highest level of systems and infrastructure availability. Assists the Information Systems Manager in providing technical guidance and recommendations to the Company. • Participates in the design of information and operational support systems. Works with vendors and other Information Systems team members to quickly and effectively for problem resolution. • Monitors and tests network and application resources and performance for potential bottlenecks, identifies possible solutions and works with developers to implement fixes. Modifies and repairs computer hardware and network configurations to maintain, enhance, and monitor system performance. • Installs patches and performs system backups and recovery. • Maintains and audits security, backup and redundancy strategy and monitors integrity of data. Provides a secure and legal operating environment (anti-virus software and insuring compliance with software license requirements). Executes disaster recovery plan to ensure business continuity. • Writes and maintains custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks. • Provides direction and 2nd and 3rd level support to the Help Desk technicians including: installing and maintaining company-wide network/PC hardware system; installing and maintaining data collection. • Frequently takes direction from European parent company and communicates, coordinates, and implements those directives for RFC companies in US. Schedule: Primary working hours will be Monday-Friday, 8AM to 5:00PM, however is expected to help the IT team support the 24/7 facility as needed. ________________________________________ Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and possesses the competencies and skills listed. Qualified applicants will have: • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field • Three or more years’ experience in: o LAN/WAN, Exchange server, Internet connectivity, active directory and group policy management and support. o Windows OS, Active Directory and Exchange; Microsoft Client and Server Operating Systems (Win2008/2012/2016 Server, and Windows 10) o TCP/IP connectivity, o VMware/Hyper-V o Maintaining and auditing security, backup and redundancy strategy and monitoring integrity of data o 2nd & 3rd tier Help Desk Support; experience supporting 24/7 facilities o Design of information and operational support system • Ability travel domestically and internationally • US Person as defined by ITAR/EAR Preferred applicants will also have: o Certifications in Security, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator or Engineer (MCSA / MCSE) o Experience with multi-site, manufacturing environments o Five or more years’ experience in IT roles similar or progressive career ________________________________________ Are you organized, able to prioritize, set and keep deadlines, change direction quickly, adapt to various work environments easily?
