Erection of the finished product in the field. Essential Functions: • Perform welding task, flat and some out of position mg, arc, torch • Prepare material for welding • Operate shop tools - hand drill, grinder, etc. • Operate all shop and field equipment as needed for specific operation • Organize and layout, fit up small sub-assemblies • Assemble conveyor components with supervisor • Bolt or weld sub-assemblies together with supervision • Maintain tools and equipment organized in shop trailer or trucks • Conduct all work processes in a safe manner • Ability to lift a minimum of 60 pounds • Ability to withstand working in changing weather conditions including outdoor and indoor on a year-round basis • Ability to bend, stand, stoop, sit, climb, lift, walk and move body in various positions according to the requirements of the working environment. • Must be willing to travel at least 5 days in a week. Overnight stays required. Travel via automobile or plane required Other Functions: • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the department and processes • Attend training classes as required • Travel to job sites to make field measurements and/or observe Accountability: • Accuracy of flow schematic and system layout, general arrangement and detail drawings • Maintaining schedule as assigned by department manager and project manager including arriving at scheduled time for work • Safe execution of job duties, personal safety when traveling and at job sites and responsibility to conduct behavior in a safe, professional manner • Conduct operation of job according to the scheduled time frame. Meet all deadlines Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent • Welding experience minimum: 6-12 months • Proficient in 2D and/or 3D CAD, preferably AutoCAD and Inventor • Blue print reading • Basic math skills – plus fractions/decimals • Ability to interact with others as a team player • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Good organization skills • Quick learner • Strong problem solving skills • NCCCO Crane certification preferred but not required Mental Demands: • Ability to switch from task to task as priorities change and allocate enough time to individual projects to meet multiple deadlines • Moderate to high stress levels due to deadlines and quality expectations • Responsibility to meet short deadlines while maintaining high quality levels • Must be able to interact with people at all levels Summary: • Great benefits available: Hourly pay with overtime, paid vacation, 401(k), health, dental, vision, and life insurance • •
